Hey there! In this podcast, Steph talks about the three critical things you need to know about ChatGPT as a business person. The potential issues businesses face when using AI, specifically ChatGPT. We all want to be more productive but we definitely want to be mindful of some of the downside of AI tools.
She points out that ChatGPT might not give you the most up-to-date information because it has yet to be updated since 2021, which could cause problems in the long run. And a LOT of wasted time.
Also, ChatGPT's generated content might lead to copyright issues because the content may not belong to you. Plus, Google filters can spot content generated by ChatGPT and might end up suppressing it. Ugh. All of these things may result in lost income, lost leads, lost time, and may cost us if we have to defend ourselves against copyright challenges.
So, what's Steph's advice? She suggests using Content at Scale instead, which creates long-form content in a more human-like voice to avoid these issues altogether. Another tool that Steph recommends is Descript, which can take spoken language and turn it into transcripts that can be used as a basis for blog posts or articles--anything you want! Using a transcript of human speech and then ChatGPT, you can create content that sounds human (because it is!!) and avoid getting flagged by Google's filters--take that, Google!! So dive in with AI, it's everywhere and can save you loads of time and brainpower, but research the downside to your output if you're using it for business or selling it as a product. AI Problems People Aren't Talking About and Why You Should Care
Steph has been discussing the use of AI for productivity. Here she focuses on being aware of the potential risks associated with using AI that people aren’t talking about but can have a major impact on your brand. Discussing the limitations of Chat GPT and problems we can run into if we’re not aware. One big one is the fact that data was pulled before 2021, so any new research with a present-day focus isn’t accurate.
As a single parent with a bunch of parenting challenges and more time and caregiving needed, Steph wants to leverage her time and be as efficient as possible. She’s excited to use AI.
Chat GPT is great for generating content quickly, but it’s important to be mindful of its limitations. Google has filters to determine if the content was created by bots, which can lead to suppressed rankings in search engine results. Content generated by superior tools such as Content at Scale is more likely to pass these filters and appear higher in rankings. Also, copyright issues related to AI-generated content have not yet been ironed out, making it important to add a human element to generated content. Taking time to massage content and add a unique voice can help to set our content apart from others who don’t have time or don’t realize how important it is.
When using AI to generate content, it is suggested to comment somewhere in the content, such as at the bottom, that it was generated using AI. It is still unclear what the legal implications of using AI-generated content are, but it is recommended that the more one can have a hand in the content, the more it is theirs. One example of AI-generated content tools is the Mid Journey word-to-art tool, which allows one to type in a word and specify the style and look of the image it generates, such as the type of lighting and lenses used.
AI tools can be used to create art and content to sell online with minimal copyright infringement concerns. Julia McCoy, the founder of Content Hacker, is an example of someone who has shifted her thoughts around using AI tools to create content. She’s now Director of Marketing Content at Scale, an AI company that creates natural and human-like content that passes AI checkers. They also explicitly state that what is generated using their tool belongs to the customer. Content at Scale is a paid tool, with a low-end entry point of $150.

Are you using AI yet? If so, what for? I'd love to hear your take on AI. Check out the last episode and learn more about ways to overcome some of the bot challenges with ChatGPT. This episode discusses the downside of using Chat GPT and how it can negatively impact SEO. Provides a solution to improve SEO rankings, as well as a mystery tool which may help with the primary problem of Chat GPT. The conversation then shifts to the struggles of being a single parent and a mom with a sick child and how automation and AI can help to manage a business despite the challenging circumstances. Steph acknowledges the mixed feelings towards AI, emphasizing the importance of finding the right tools to make life easier.
Chat GP and Descript are two tools that can help save time when it comes to creating content. Chat GPT is an AI tool with a natural language foundation that generates robotic text. Both tools can help shave time off of content creation, allowing creators to focus more on relaxing and enjoying their work.
Steph found Julia McCoy's work through a search and was wowed by her content and offerings. Julia is an experienced writer, founder, and SEO expert. She argues that using a chatbot to generate content won't work because it won't pass Google's filters. Steph then introduces Descript, an audio and video editing and transcript creation tool that can be used to create content. It has filters that can save time, such as one that takes out large gaps in audio and video, which is helpful when you're exhausted, out of coffee, or have cognitive issues.
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence tool to help with creating content from transcripts or audio recordings. It can remove filler words, repetitive words, and words that don't make sense—in her test, she asked is to create a series of tweets, quotes from a transcript. It can save a lot of time for those who don't have the capacity to write. LINKS FOR CONTENT MENTIONED Content Hacker Content at Scale Descript ChatGPT

HIGHLIGHTS
She became the VP of Marketing at Content at Scale, an AI tool that's superior in writing true human-like longform text --the best AI Julia has found. She created a concept called AIO, which is artificial Intelligence Optimization for writers, the AIO process.
My goal is to save you, mamas and women, time. Like, we have all this motivation. We have the gifts, the skills, the knowledge. We want to do these things.
Consider using tools, and leveraging them in a way that will save you time. But don't just rely on the tools. That's why I suggest taking your content in your voice, your interviews, whatever.
And this tool can create fantastic blog posts and things like that with SEO baked in. It's saved her a lot of time. I just saw her video, and it's super impressive.
Whatever the angle you want to pull from the podcast, YouTube Live, whatever it is that you're using as the foundation for Chat GPT, right? Because it's basing it on natural language, it will turn out way better.
I've missed you! I love podcasting. I love creating content. And I so love being able to help people and earn a living.
But, reality check, being a mom will interrupt business. Period. And these past two months have been rough. What we've all been through is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. And the amount of time, energy, and focus has been above and beyond anything I could have predicted. Stuff happens, and we need to be prepared.
So this episode is about what life throws our way and how we as caregivers will likely take a hit when someone gets sick, needs to be hospitalized, or needs a higher level of care from us for some time. We must set up our lives to account for these gaps of complete demand on our time.
Being more strategic with my earnings and creating income streams that aren't dependent on my time allowing for as much flexibility as possible, is now an absolute necessity, as is my daughter's recovery and overall mental wellness as a family.
Related to this, check out the youTube video I created about a simple side gig where you can make $100+/hour with quick zoom calls for for a marketing company that does user studies and pays well. This is something you could do even on the tightest schedule, that's why I'm including it here. https://youtu.be/vEG8UdlvjqU

There's no question that these are dark times. I accept that. Heaps of doom and gloom are being served to us, and it's nearly impossible to dodge. Important news and events impact our lives and the lives of fellow humans. But dwelling in the darkness doesn't serve us, and we will all be better off finding ways to reach for and stay in the light. I believe that when we're in dark times, it's a good idea to focus on what's good and possible, find more purpose, and create ways to make life better. Doing so has a positive ripple effect in life, and anyone around us can feel it. It creates hope and gives us the fuel we need to impact change.
So I'm inviting you to tune in and do your best to play along with me weekly as we try to stay in the light to spite these dark times and the swirl around us.

Man, it has been a crazy wild last two years, and I was thinking about this episode and how to honor moms and all that moms have been through because I think of all that people have been through, the most significant weight has been put upon mothers and mother figures, caregivers, for sure, over the last two years.
And so some moms are just spent and at their wit's end, and some mothers, through all of this, have learned to figure out more self-care, how to realign themselves, maybe with better jobs or with delegating things around the house so that they can take back their time and not be this wonder woman, super supermom.
And then many of us also have lost parents. I lost my mom 16 years ago. Her mom right after that, so two maternal figures poof!--both were gone. I didn't have my kids until two years later, but that hole was there. Through this pandemic, so many people have lost their parents, their mothers, and loved ones. Or their parents are battling illness now. It's a lot, and it can make this day a big mixed bag of emotions.
I get it. I'm sharing some thoughts about my mother, my grandmother, the sorrow I've felt for my mother never meeting my children, and how I turned that around last year, determined to start a new tradition for Mother's Day. And I have some ideas for turning things around for yourself so life can be sweeter and you can maintain more life in life in spite of inflation, pandemics, and dark news in the world.
