In this life we are taught to stand on our own two feet, be independent; be a warrior, protect what’s yours. These things still hold true when we surrender to God. We stand firm on his word, we let no one sway us from his word, we are warriors for Christ and his word is our sword and shield.

It is easy to get drawn into the riches of this world, at the end of the day they are merely material things that will perish. But In Christ Jesus we can have an abundant life, an eternal life, the fullness of life, that’s why we should have the audacity to live.

Spiritual maturity is more than Sunday worship and Wednesday Bible Study. It's not an overnight process, but it is a process. Sometimes you will wobble, other times you may have to grab onto someone to keep your balance, but eventually your spiritual growth is evident and soon you will be all over the place telling others about Christ. Will you take the first step to Spiritual maturity?

What if we viewed every circumstance, every situation as a win/win. If you lose something, look at it as an opportunity to gain so much more, whether it is a lesson learned or an opportunity to grow from your mistake. As believers, God has our best interest in mind, regardless of the outcome.

No boxer enters the ring knowing he will lose. No football team steps on the field to lose. They train, they prepare and they step out to win. If they lose, they don't focus on the loss, they go back, replay their mistakes, train more and step back out to win.
