Now, we are aware that the common consensus for the lyrical meaning behind Megadeth's Holy Wars...The Punishment Due has to do with the implications of the historical wars fought in the "Holy Land" throughout the centuries and that persist to this day. I get that. However, consider this: could Dave Mustaine have been secretly talking about record collectors? Read that lyric at the top again, and tell me that doesn't apply to record collectors. We're not even getting started on the line, "Brother will kill brother, spilling blood across the land." This song is seriously about record collectors. We're onto your secret messages, Dave.

Oh, and the official video for Holy Wars...The Punishment Due kind of creeps us out. Why aren't any of them wearing shirts? Why are their pants so tight?
