We are happy that my great friend — and better handicapper — Dennis Trusty was able to join me and my “brother from another mother,” Dave “Buzz” Baker, for Friday’s Show and a look at this year’s G3 Southwest Stakes. While both Dennis and I are very close in our analysis, it is always fun and interesting to get another perspective.
Dennis — who you can find at Trusty_Picks (aka Dennis Trusty) or @dennis_trusty on “X” — is one of the nicest, and most educated young handicappers in the entire free world. And, unlike most of the grizzled veterans that like to hang out at the racetrack, Dennis is one of the most respectful young people in our world. He grew up in the horse business. He knows the horse business. And, he is one fine handicapper, to boot. Give him a look and try his picks. I think you will be happy that you did.
And, as always, Dave “Buzz” Baker managed to hold every thought and person together — as best he could. The “Hall of Famer” — who is in the Kentucky Broadcasters Hall of Fame — is a true professional and I am so honored to call him a friend. He has been with me through thin and thinner, and I will forever be grateful for his friendship and his undying support for some cat named Shaboozey.
Here’s our Friday Show. We will be going to a podcast format soon. Improvements on the way. Until then, though…
Take a listen…we kick in about 14-15 seconds into the recording…
