One day Jesus' disciples asked him, "Lord, teach us to pray." Prayer is something every religion has and most every person knows about, but prayer is more than a religious duty. Prayer is more than a statement of comfort we make to someone else in a time of need. Jesus made prayer a deeper connection with the Father. This week we share how we should pray from a heart that is desperate for and dependent on God. Approach Him with bold persistence. Be attentive to how He answers, and trust Him.

What could happen if we combined our dream with reality, if we saw the potential that was there? How could that fuel possibility in our life? God's word is full of possibilities for us. Ask yourself - What does God want to be possible for me this year?

Fear not, a child was born who would perform an act of kindness beyond what any one of us would deserve to approve, support and love you regardless of who you are or what you’ve done.

We don't have to fear failure, not having enough to give, feeling incapable. We can walk by faith when we walk by God's word because His word never fails and nothing is an impossibility when God is involved.

There’s a lot in our world today that leads us to fear. We are prone to worry, to be anxious, to be stressed. But the words of the angel spoken to the shepherds is as true today for us as they were for them - “Fear not, I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born!” During these 3 weeks we will see how faith in Christ frees us from the fear that comes in this life. This week we look at how when the circumstances around us or the future ahead of us seems uncertain, the birth of Jesus reminds us that God has a plan.

Our hope is in the one who brings peace like no-one or nothing else can. Through the Prince of Peace we have a hope that brings peace despite the circumstances of life and that brings peace to others by how we respond to those circumstances and them.

Our hope is in the everlasting father. The relationship we have with our father will impact every aspect of our life. Let it mold you into becoming who He’s created you to be so that whatever your assignment in life, your identity is always that of a child of God.

Our hope is in the Mighty God who is Sovereign, who made the heavens and the earth by His great power, and nothing is too hard for him.

You can live every day with hope knowing that the one who is beyond understanding can give you the wisdom and the strength to get you from where you are, to where you need to be. Our hope is in the Wonderful Counselor.

The love of God is faithful, forgiving and relentless. It continues to reach out to us even when we walk away from Him. His relentless love will go again and again to redeem us and it wants to go again and again through us to others.
