Our behavior will flow from our identity. The good news, when we are in Christ, our identity is in Him.

God has given us a comfort that is greater than anything the culture, other religions, or our own preferences and desires can provide. When we embrace the awkward, we can trust in God’s promises of what is to come.

The church is made up of people we may not always get along with or agree with, but that’s something God can use for our good and for His glory.

Jesus' death on the cross was for our freedom, but it's also our call to deny ourselves and take up our own cross. It's uncomfortable to surrender but it's when we surrender that we find true comfort.

Let's face it, there's things about church that can be awkward. The things we do, the things we say, and even the people. Maybe though, it's the awkward that makes things beautiful. What if instead of turning away from the awkward, we embraced it? This series will challenge us to grow in our Christian faith, or embark on a Christian journey for the first time, by simply embracing the awkward.

This week - We grow by leaving our comfort zones and entering into the challenges and discomforts of our faith.

Today we celebrate all that God did in 2019. As we look back we also look forward with great anticipation to what God will do in the new year.

If you are willing, Jesus can make “all things new” in your life.

Even when it doesn't feel like God is there, He is.

The birth of Jesus brought awe and wonder and the rebirth of our life in Jesus awakens a new wonder in us.

The coming of Jesus brought hope to the world. His coming still brings hope to our lives today and hope for eternity as well. Join us this month as we celebrate the hope of the world that was born over 2000 years ago!
