A shepherd is someone sheep trust. He's someone that protects, cares for and watches over the sheep. He guides them and leads them where they need to be. Jesus said, "I am the good Shepherd." Find out what that means to us.

We were thrilled to have Jen Thompson, the Executive Director of Lighthouse for Life in our morning service. Jen shared some eye opening information with us, but it’s way more than awareness. Jen’s passion and anointing to speak of every person’s value and how we can treat everyone with value is incredible.

The dark is a lonely place to be in, but Jesus has offered us a way to come out of the dark, and that's through Him. He is the light.

To enter into most any place, there is a door you must go through, or an entrance of some kind. Our eternity hinges on such a door, and that door has a name.

If you’re a believer, you have a call, a God commissioned goal for your life. And if you’re not pursuing this goal, you're quite possibly like the disciples were, caught in a gaze.

It's important that we are biblically grounded in our understanding of Jesus. There's no need to define Him by our own parameters and preferences, creating Jesus in our image. He has perfectly defined Himself to us and when we understand who He is, then we can be transformed into His image.

The Bible calls David a man after God's on heart, but even David failed in life. We can learn from him, and guard ourselves against sin's temptation that would cause us to take a wrong turn in life.

Even in the wilderness times of life God is still with us and God can bring about transformation.

Transformation often sounds great. We want to see results, but any worthwhile transformation takes time, energy, focus. Whether it's physically, financially, spiritually, none of these are accomplished overnight. They all begin with a first step, a step of faith, then many steps of faithfulness.

Whether intentionally or unintentionally, we may be treating others as if they are "unclean." It's time we break down the barriers that divide and start living a gospel life that Christ intended.
