Finally, something Republicans and Democrats agree on

VERBATIM:  A new poll from the Pew Research Center asks Americans about the freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment and as you might expect, members of the two parties differ widely in their concern about most of them.  But on the question of whether or not they fear future restrictions on the freedom of religion, the numbers are very close.  41% of Democrats say they’re very concerned as are 37% of Republicans.  MH REPORTING

VERBATIM:  The latest installment, “The Magician’s Nephew”, is still in the works.  But the issue is director Greta Gerwig’s announcement that the character of Aslan — the lion who allegorically represents Christ — will be voiced by actress Meryl Streep.  While Strep is a three-time Oscar-winner, critics point out that Aslan, both in the books and in previous film adaptations is MALE.  Many on social media are expressing concern about what the movie will look like.  MH REPORTING
