  • Episode 7 - Mark buys a new amp - the weather report
It's been a ridiculously hot summer here in London but that won't stop us from bringing you episode 7!
In the news we chat about TC Electronic - how not to name your new guitar pedal (they really messed this one up), two new bass amp heads.
We also discuss the new EQ from Slate, the FG-A. Logitech and Blue microphones join forces (exciting times ahead), and much more.
In the main event Mark tells us all about his brand spanking new shiny amp and why he bought it. We've even provided some audio clips of Mark playing the amp! Check out the video of Mark unveiling his new amp - https://bit.ly/2P4iJJx.
As always we wrap up with what we've been listening to!

  • Episode 6 - Purple cables, the theme tune, planets
It's the big one! The one with the theme tune! Yes episode 6 is here and you might just hear our shiny new theme tune (still not fully finished).
We discuss all the goings on and latest releases at Summer NAMM. Mark gets annoyed about some guitar cables (these aren't just any cables though). Vish talks about the Slate ML-2 mic. Plus the Avantone CLA-10 speakers, the world cup horn suppressor (yes it's a real thing!), and so much more!
We talk through the process of making the theme tune and recording the theme tune and what on earth we were thinking. While we're at it we give a mini review to the Waves PRS supermodel amps, which we used extensively.
We finish up on what we've been listening to. Vish has been listening to The Contortionist, and gets all cultural listening to the Planets by Gustav Holt.

  • Episode 5 - RIP Vinnie Paul, -14 LUFS for life, reunited
It's the big episode 5. Mark is back and the team is reunited to ramble about all things audio and music.
We start of with the sad news of Vinnie Paul's passing. RIP big guy. A true legend in the metal world.
As always we take a look at all the news that is peaking our interest, including a load of cool stuff that Fender have been releasing. Plus we discuss a study that says Guitar sales are up and there are more girls and women playing guitar than ever before (music to our ears!).
We look at moving on from VST 2 to VST 3, will it make a difference? Plus a whole lot more as always.
Mark gives his thoughts on the interview with Chris in the last episode.
We round things off discussing what we've been listening to. Mark finally got to see The The, not once but twice! Vish has discovered a YouTuber with some serious shred skills that he's been digging.

Chris is an audio mastering engineer and runs http://unlockyoursound.com/ as well as working on a bunch of other projects, and being a big presence in the online music production community.

Getting into the nitty gritty of the mixing techniques we both used for episode 3, and we reveal who mixed which bit, our choice of plugins and why, and did even really make a difference anyway?!?!
As usual we also take a look at what we've been listening to, including Burn the Priest with their new album Legion XX.
All this and more audio nerdiness on episode 4!

Hit that play button.
