How do you get involved in missions? What do missions look like in a post-2020 world? How do you work to make sure Christ is the center of your mission? Daniel McDonald with Global Education Ministries helps us answer some of those questions as he sits down and talks about GEM, their goals and desires, and their work. Life is not perfect. It is can be messy and hurtful at times. We can fall into the trap of pretending everything is always okay and think that we are living a good Christian life. This is the opposite of what we see in the Bible. Jesus reaches people in their hurting and in their pain. What if we focused on helping people in their hurting as well? Join Tim Sosin (member of Bedrock Fishtown and founder of Birthstone Trauma Healing) as he discusses Trauma-Focused Discipleship. What is a Legacy? We might not realize it, but the term “Legacy” does not always carry positive ideas and actions. What legacy will we as individuals leave behind? What legacy will the Church leave behind? As Christians, we have been tasked to carry the legacy of Christ through our lives. David sits down with Pastor Lee Steele to discuss what it means to continue a legacy at an individual level and as a Church. Are we doing it well? One of the core visions for Bedrock Lynchburg is to create a culture. But the term “culture” means a lot of different things to different people and in different settings. What does it mean to create a Christian culture? How can followers of Christ work to create a Christian culture? For this episode, Chaz sits down with Pastor Jeremy Minor to discuss the idea behind Creating A Culture and what that can and should look like in the life of a Christ-follower. You can follow this podcast wherever you listen to podcasts and on Instagram @AudioSteeple so you do not miss any devotionals or discussions.

Have you ever wondered where the term "scapegoat" comes from? Have you ever wondered how that term relates to Jesus? Have you ever wondered about the parallels between Jesus and Barabbas? Chaz McPeake will go through all of these in this devotional looking at Leviticus, Jesus, and Barabbas. You can follow this podcast wherever you listen to podcasts and on Instagram @AudioSteeple so you do not miss any devotionals or discussions.

Lamenting is something we see throughout the Bible. In fact, there is an entire book dedicated to the Lamentations of a prophet. But, how does this translate to us? Are we supposed to lament? Is there a right way to lament? David Clouse dives into the topic to help us better understand what this can look like in our lives by seeing how it works in the Bible.
