"Ich habe mit 22 als Student schon meine erste Eigentumswohnung gekauft, die ich mir durch Jobs zusammengespart habe. Heute mache das was mir immer am Herzen lag. Die Entwicklung von Immobilien. Das ist meine Motivation." - In dieser Folge ist der Düsseldorfer Immobilienentwickler Dr. Josef Rick zu Gast bei unserem Mitglied Mümin Efe.
Nach seiner Promotion in Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Uni Münster war Dr. Rick zuletzt als Geschäftsführer von The Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf tätig und weltweit verantwortlich für die BCG-Aktivitäten in der Industriegüterbranche. Mittlerweile ist er Immobilienentwickler in Düsseldorf und hat seine Leidenschaft und sein Hobby, die Immobilienentwicklung, zu seinem Beruf gemacht.

Unser Gast in dieser Episode ist Charlotte Sommer, die Geschäftsführerin von Mohnfeld Moden - bekannt aus Formaten wie Shopping Queen und Sat1 Volles Haus. Finanzen spielen in der Politik eine wichtige Rolle, denn nur mit einer soliden Finanzplanung können Investitionen vorangetrieben und der Fortschritt unseres Landes weiter sichergestellt werden. Dabei ist das Zusammenspiel der politischen Akteure, wie in diesem Fall den Kabinettsmitgliedern der Landesregierung, von großer Bedeutung. Damit am Ende ein Landeshaushalt steht, muss er von den Abgeordneten des Landtages beschlossen werden. Dies geschieht in der sogenannten „Haushaltsdebatte“. Im Vorfeld stellt der Finanzminister den Haushalt vor.
Genau darüber haben wir mit Dr. Marcus Optendrenk gesprochen. Er ist seit 2022 Finanzminister des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen und erklärt uns in der heutigen Folge, wie die Haushaltsplanung aussieht und welche Rolle u.a. die Themen Sondervermögen und Altschulden in der Finanzplanung eine Rolle spielt.

Warum steht Düsseldorf für M&A? Diese und viele weitere spannende Fragen werden wir in dieser Folge beantworten. Wir haben uns über die Bedeutung von Schiedsgerichten bei Post-M&A Streitigkeiten unterhalten, in Erfahrung gebracht, wie Tanzen die Sichtbarkeit erhöhen kann und über eine neue gerichtliche Spezialzuständigkeit in Düsseldorf gesprochen. Heute senden wir aus dem Düsseldorfer Landtag eine Folge mit dem Landtagspräsidenten André Kuper.
