Gym Maximization and Pokestop Maximization for max items Starter tips Gym workouts Save on your revives and potions No Dodging required When Attacking a gym knows your matchups, each battle reduces the strength and CP of the pokemon in it so 90% of the time you do not need to heal up after each battle. Battles in Pokemon Go will queue up the next attack so furiously tapping the screen will just tire yourself out. This is how you undertap in pvp or dodge in gyms and Raids. If you are very new to a gym and are going to fight it to change your color before the last battle wait to spin the pokestop attached to it till it is your team's color PokeStops Explainer what you need to know a Pokestop has a cooldown of 5 minutes before you can spin and receive items again. Defeating a Team Go Rocket Grunt will reactivate the pokestop and let you spin to give you the items they were holding* from you. The 7th day of Pokestops spins will 7x the items you would get. Every 10th pokestop will give you additional items. Gym medals award you with more items about 30 + so once you have a gym at Gold Tier make sure to spin that gym on your 7 day Pokestop Streak. We are pretty sure it still works but There is a crazy trick you can manage if you happen to be playing late at night. If you spin your 9 pokestops and Spin a gym you have a gold medal at 12:01am on your 7 day streak and you should get a crazy amount of items out of it.

Change up you buddy often or focus getting one maxed out asap, each tier gives you a new type of bonus that will help conserve/give items

The Route Maker is the Niche feature that has been keeping Kecleon from the players. it was almost released last year but due to Covid and the lack of people being outside the feature and Kecleon was pushed back. The Route maker will be just like Missions in Ingress except it will be created inside the game. Once it is made, named and Aproved (probably by Wayfarers) it will appear in PoGO. and maybe Ingress?

January 24, 2021Incense day AKA Evolve a Mega Ampharos ASAP if you want extra candy for 85% of the event.
Evolve a Mega Ampharos early if you have one extra candy for 85% of the event.
Dragon and Electric type spawning Best and might be the only way for some people to complete the Hoenn Challenge
Incense day for celebration of Mega Ampharos Dragon and Electric type pokemon on alternating times triggered by incense. Also Evolving a Flaaffy into Ampharos will give Dragon pulse the Community day move from 2018. FYI if anyone has a shadow Mareep to evolve in the past unless Frustration was already TMed off or a second Charge move assigned the Evolution of a Shadow flaaffy would not Award with Dragon pulse.

Note. electric last for 2hrs where the Dragon lasts for 1 hrs (the General scoop considering)

If you're in it for shinies, Electric hour will be Voltorb ,pikachu, magnemite ,chinchou,plusle,minun.
Shinies for Dragon Hour will still have mareep also horsea Dratini trapinch swablu bagon and possibly have a chance for vibrava shiny

This event will have some good chances for PVP iv Pokemon which is the nice part about incense days vs research days, more varieties of IVs
Swablu Stunfisk Minun Chinchou Magnemite are the most notable and sometimes meta staple or wild cards.

This event will also offer a 1 coin bundle for 3 incense, it doesn't say they are lasting longer so at the very least the dragon hours of 1pm and 4pm will be the better times pending on your shiny or pvp checklist.

This event is an ok push for the Dragon medal especially since Platinum is now a 2500 tier for the +4 dragon catch rate. So keep those Silver and Pinapes Ready for the Trapinch, Bagon Vibrava Dratini will give you 1 mark for the medal and an evolution for those 4 will give you another. Swablu would cost you 400 candy Horsea would cost you 124 and a Dragon scale and in the world of XL candy it's not the best idea for them pending on your Candy counts region/ spawn diversity/density.

November 23, 2020How to prep for 40-50 in PoGO from just the news launch?
We broke down every bit of information from Niantics news post about just the levels itself. Since each level dealt with a different Aspect of the game we talked about each one.
Acquiring 41 is basically a catch-athon so open gifts, save balls and berries.

42 Evolutions, speculated on Galar Evolutions, but our thoughts were get all the Evolution stones you can, 7day streak and spinning Pokestops for the various Gen2 stones(maybe gifts), Sinnoh and Unova Stones can be Acquired by doing PVP with a trainer(3per day), Team Leader(1 per day) or fighting a Team Go Rocket leader.
Prewalk 2 Eevees to 10 km for the Evolutions save the coin or a Mossy & Glacier Lures
Not sure about Sylveon, but save a few ™`s in the event that they introduce it for the global launch. If they introduce a similar mechanic requiring it to learn a Fairy type move.

43 Gym Battles and Platinum Medals Hit the Gyms early in the day it's a battle for each pokemon beat don't heal your pokemon In between fight to save on potions. Best Buddies have a Revive if you switch them in and out of your Buddy slot if they faint. That why the limit is 20 Swaps per day.

44 GBL fighting, not much for us to talk about

45 Team Go Rocket Take your Time, fight the Team leaders after fighting 6 regular Grunts, Do Not Buy a Radar unless you have 2 leaders in close proximity as any grunt fought while having a Radar will not acquire mysterious Components. Also if you have, or they release another Research with Giovanni keep the Super Rocket Radar Equipped so you can defeat the extra Decoys that will count for Mysterious Components and Team Go Rocket defeats.

46 Research Eggs and Snapshots time sink
This will be best on a Community day when every research is catch 3, it will be an easy 20-30 considering your average large park. Save your Research Queue Pokemon holds around 40 pokemon and if you are doing alot of throw, catch or berry Quests having a pokemon to catch on Demand make a research grind 100% easier. Hope for an Egg Event or just using 2km in the Infinite incubator. The 7 Day Snapshot is to keep from people buying too many incubators and burning out.

47 Complete a lot of Raids, get every bonus you can. Maybe they will want people to beat a raid with a full team of Murkows? Dont Rush hit the Raid Hours or other raid events.

48 Buddy Up it Could be for new distances, acquire new Souvenirs or it add up the total.

Which means that each location or event with an Ultra Buddy where you open their gift Could reward a unique Souvenir.

49 Friendship Tier Gain more levels, send more gifts, do more trades, save some old pokemon, Save the Gift pokemon and Trade for a higher Distance medal or just trade a bunch for the different medal tiers.

50 Make Excellent Throws save those big pokemon in the research queue, Catch legendary pokemon Or do Both with a large Raid Boss, team go Rocket leaders with 1500cp pokemon will ask for the perfect balance of Strategy and damage, using all the pvp skills. Australia is a Test so some of our theories could hold or their numbers could change too.
