Sin's Increasing Spiral
After King David's confession and repentance of his sin with Bathsheba, I wonder if he looked back on the many months that had passed since he had stood on his roof and saw Bathsheba bathing and said to himself:
How could I have been so stupid?
I am not sure who coined the following saying, but King David would have truly understood the words:
Sin will take you farther than you ever thought you'd go; it will keep you there longer than you ever intended to stay, and it will cost you more than you ever expected to pay.
If you are living in sin at the moment, I encourage you to understand that Jesus is waiting to forgive you.
