I would like to think I treat each day as a gift and not a given right. I pray, I meditate, I spread kindness, I find joy in hardships, and I love fearlessly. Being a good person doesn't mean scary, and rare occurrences will be devoid in your life. I am a case study, and this week changed my life forever. A ruptured hemorrhagic ovarian cyst, bleeding internally, emergency surgery, and so much more... There is no dust mite, dirty kitchen pan, or unkempt laundry that could rattle me. At age 33, I came as close to death as I ever desired to be, and I learned countless valuable lessons drawn upon through internal strength and sheer willpower. I am strong, I will be okay, and I have to wade through the mud to get to the miracles. There is light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we encounter. -Mother Teresa
