August 8, 2021 Sermon - Since We've Been Forgiven
In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, Pastor Swanson shares a Sunday message titled,
Since We've Been Saved!
At the beginning of this message, I noted:
As new creations in Christ, we are to be different.- Is it possible to go on living in the same way once we accept Jesus Christ?
- Is it possible to be kind, compassionate, tender-hearted, and yet bitter at the same time?
- Can we live as forgiven sinners and not forgive others?
Our faith in Jesus Christ should affect every area of our lives. Most certainly, all those around us should be able to discern a significant internal change. Overall, our entire lives should be different because of what has happened to us.
In this week's message, the Apostle Paul paints a picture of how the believer is now to live.
As new creations in Christ, we are to be different.
Paul encourages us to remove the garments of our old life and put on the garments of the new man.
