Welcome to the Auntie Midwife podcast. Here, we will be discussing everything Women's Health which includes Sexual & Reproductive Health, Maternal & Child Health, pregnancy, parenthood adolescent health, and more.

This platform is a haven for women and adolescent girls to talk about women and adolescent sexual and reproductive health issues. 

Here, women are free and comfortable to discuss issues concerning their sexual and reproductive health without judgment or prejudice.

Also here, we have open discussions about the conversations that are usually held behind closed doors, those that never get to be discussed openly.

Conversations about sex and what women want/expect from sex, abortion, miscarriages, contraception, infertility, gynaecological conditions, and cancers like uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, breast cancer, endometrial cancer, polycystic ovary syndrome, and the likes.

We will also be tackling controversial subjects like cultural influences on women's sexual and reproductive health, and what it is like to be a trying-to-conceive woman within the African society. 

This platform brings to bare matters affecting women's health and seeks to inform and empower women to take charge of their reproductive health.

My name is Lydia Ayisi, but everybody calls me Auntie Midwife. I am a midwife, a sexual and reproductive health expert, and a maternal and child health advocate. I am your host.
