It used to be called "When Hope Is Gone". It's me in like 1992 or 1993 with a couple-a synths and a cheap drum machine, and, as I've been going back through these older files and re-listenting, hoping to find something worth re-posting as-is -- I find it has the fortune of being one of the few things of that era which is spared of my insufferable singing.

And, maybe it's a weird feeling or just because I'm medicated -- but I kinda feel vibes like December 2022 might finally be ready for this 30 year old masterpiece. Which I will now call Killing Throbbing Genesis [No Notes Remix]

Because renaming it is the "remix", but it's a straight repost of the old mp3, which I pieced together in the early 2000s from old cassettes.

[For the gearheads: in my foggy memory is this is mostly Korg DW-6000 layered on top of a 286-clone-era Sound Blaster 16 or some shit soundcard and the boss DR-550 drum machine. For mixing I think I may have had my soundcraft spirit-12 or whatever was their small 12-channel thing. Or I may have still been on Radio Shack. MIDI all sequenced from an early dos version of Cakewalk, going "midi-live" through the mixer down to two-track cassette.]
