Aunty Sochelle Hour-ish

Detroit has been the launching ground of musical artists and poets for decades. In my post-divorce years, I was fortunate enough to live in the area for a couple of years, finding incredible performers, writers, and artists along the way. One of these extraordinary humans is Ms. Rosemarie Wilson. She is an author, artist, playwright, poetess, songwriter, and OH what a voice! She's written and produced plays, and her Fly-Ku's are Chef's kiss brilliant. This actor can bring tears to your eyes in laughter or sadness with just a few simple words. Visit with Aunty and Rosemarie in this lively music heavy interview.

He could have been an engineer in the lucrative world of dot coms. He might have been a Broadway dancer, had he tapped into it, (pun intended). He may still become a professional poker player full time. Instead, one of the brightest minds in Northern California ended up as a juggler. Not just a juggler, but a juggler's juggler. Meet Scotty Meltzer- a corporate juggler. A corporate juggler comedian in a Primus video, (Mr Kringle). Aunty goes back and forth with her longtime friend and former housemate, Scotty Meltzer.

Dr. Amy Tudor is an award-winning writer. Her artistic mind also helped her become an expert on photography. She's published, and lauded by people for her creativity, but that's not what we talked about. Dr. Tudor also happens to have a great Ted Talk (link below) on her job as a End-of-Life Doula. and professor for the same. Her students adore her, as you can tell from her Rate My Professor page. Why not? She's insightful, hilarious, wise and compassionate. Join us as we chat up the issues of death in the United States, and around the world, making it a little less creepy for some, and a little more compassionate for most.

If you ask any working veteran American stand-up which manager, or coach helped shape their career the most, the names Steve and Barb North will grace their lips with a smile. We spoke earlier with Barb North, but now Steve is up at bat. Mr. North, easily recognizable in his captain's cap looks like everyone's favorite uncle, or a member of a Captain and Tenille cover act. This guy has worked as a writer on legendary television from the 1980s until this very day. If it made you laugh on Networks, there is a very big chance Steve was the reason why. And, if there is a comedian who has blown you away, there is a big chance Steve was part of the comedian's growth. Aunty loves Steve North, and she bets you will, too.

He could have been the next Alex Ross, with his incredible artistic skills. He could have been the biggest Mad Man in the business. He probably could have been the next Robin Williams if he put his mind to it. There is NOTHING that Mitch Hallock isn't good at when he wants to do something. One of those things is owning and running his own Comic-Cons. Not just one, but two are under his watchful purview and those of us who love comics, games, and all nerdy art are better for it. Join Aunty as she learns about another New Englander who helps shape the land of the comic fan... Mitch Hallock.
