In light of the recent wave of patriarchal violence, the team at Aurat Raj felt it was necessary to use our platform to not only be vulnerable as women ourselves, but to also shed light on avenues for change. We interviewed Ms. Laaleen Sukhera, in collaboration with Himmat PK, to discuss taking action amidst all the injustice.

In this month's episode of Aurat Raj Talks, we engaged in powerful conversation with Ms. Yasmeen Hassan, the Global Executive Director of Equality Now. Equality Now is an international human rights organisation that uses the power of the law to fight for the rights of women and girls. Ms. Yasmeen dives into the 'Islamisation' of the law, the current state of the legal system in Pakistan for women, the most pressing women's rights issues we must tackle and how we too can make an impact through the law. 

We are thrilled to release the first episode of our podcast with the very accomplished journalist, Amber Rahim Shamsi.
