As Muslim immigration in the United States has increased, Americans have witnessed the rise of organized political Islam. In states like Michigan and Texas, where immigration has created broad demographic shifts, Islamic diasporas are organizing to alter politics in their new homelands. American Christians have been taught for generations that religion and politics do not mix — that it is a serious social taboo to explicitly organize electoral activism around faith. But the new arrivals with entirely different cultures, traditions, and faiths have no such reservations. Christians must learn to fight for their faith, because the future of the nation belongs to those who are dedicated to ensuring that their way of life carries on.

During a recent TPUSA event, a college student mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk with a poem. The host seemed to have no answer except to reply with shock. Many conservatives seem to believe that exposing the bloodthirsty nature of the progressives will make the mass reject their ideology. In reality, young people see one side able to say and do whatever it wants while the other sits helplessly. If conservatives don't shift their mentality, Charlie Kirk's death will only be the beginning.

Flavio Bolsonaro has fled to America after losing his bid for the presidency of Brazil in a stunning upset. Bolsonaro led in the first round of elections and was expected to secure victory until his opponent, Lula da Silva, received a surprising surge of votes from unlikely sections of the country. Flavio’s father, Jair Bolsonaro, is currently serving a 27-year jail sentence after his loss to Lula during a contentious election in 2022. While Donald Trump has stated that the results of the election seem suspicions, outside of providing temporary asylum to Flavio, it seems that the administration does not intend to take action to address the questionable result. Despite the highly questionable nature of the election, no one in the international community is acting to intervene on Bolsonaro’s behalf. The entire episode should serve as a warning to conservative Americans that no one is coming to save them if US elections fall apart.

The GOP is facing a critical midterm, but the conservative coalition is a mess. Several factions are now vying for the future of the movement and seem to have irreconcilable differences. When the Trump administration was dominating with clear momentum, those differences were pushed to the side, but critical missteps by the administration and the simple fact that Trump will leave office in 2028 have brought those issues to the forefront. Modern people see the nation and state as inseparable, but this was not the case for most of history. The nation-state is a relatively new concept that was imposed across the globe after World War I. While many are pushing for a renewed understanding of nationalism, the fact may be that the nation-state has run its course. We'll dig into the history and political theory behind the nation-state.

U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) told an audience at the University of Chicago that she wants future investigations of Trump administration officials to send a deterrent message. Young people considering jobs in a Republican administration, she said, should wonder whether joining it might buy them “a ton of problems.” Slotkin describes her proposal as accountability for corruption. But listen to the threat embedded in her political strategy: Make public service under the wrong president so frightening that talented young conservatives never enter government. She said the quiet part out loud, and conservatives would be fools to ignore it.
