Cameron Davis is one of Australia's most promising young up-and-coming golfers. He chats with Jason & resident Aussies Abroad golf expert Luke Elvy about his long road to the PGA Tour. From smacking balls around his backyard, to becoming one of the world's leading amateurs, to dealing with the harsh realities of turning pro & the mental challenges he continues to face as he rises up through the world rankings & learns what it takes to be a winner on the biggest stages in golf.

Joining us to cover a thrilling weekend for Australian Football is Aussies Abroad World Game expert Daniel Garb who is glowing off Hayley Raso's journey to top-flight football after a broken back in 2018.

Of the other major stories, Tony Gustavsson becomes head coach of The Matildas, Harry Kewell's Oldham FC have put together their first big performance of the season, Ashley Maynard-Brewer has become the hero for Charlton Athletic in the Carabau Cup and loads of Aussies are on the move to Europe in the transfer window.

Joining us for our weekly Golf update is Luke Elvy who gives us a rundown of all of the Aussies in action from the weekend across the wold of Golf - particularly 'Generation Next' including Lucas Herbert, Cam Davis, Min Woo Lee, and Brett Coletta. We talk LGPA as Katherine Kirk who's finished with a third-straight top-10 victory, while Minjee Lee, Hannah Green and Robyn Choi who are part of Golf Australia's high-performance academy.

Cycling expert Matt Keenan and Aussie's Abroad Jason Bennett get you up-to-speed with another busy weekend in cycling, including the Giro D'Italia, Liege-Bastogne-Liege & the Piccolo Lombardia, won by young Aussie Harry Sweeny, who joins us from Italy the morning after his breakthrough victory.

Darren Bennett did what most dreamed of, making it all the way in the NFL. He wasn't just a bit-part player either, he would go on to become the punter of the 90s while playing more than 140 NFL games over a highly-distinguished 10-year career.

Aussies Abroad catches up with one of Australia's great mixed martial arts prospects, Jake Matthews.

From training with his brother in the shed of his family home of Melbourne to joining the UFC in 2014, Matthews' rise throughout the sport coincided with his inscription in the Australian Army in 2019.

Matthews' foray into professional MMA is unique to say the least, but his story has captured the hearts of fans all over the globe.

Darren Bennett and Nathan Chapman have been at the forefront of the Australian wave of NFL punters arriving on U.S shores. Bennett, a former AFL player won the punting job for the San Diego Chargers in 1993, and went on to play 145 NFL games spanning a 10-year career, and later became the league's punter of the 90s - a huge honour.

Chapman, on the other hand, played three preseason games with the Green Bay Packers before spending time at the rookie and senior minicamps of the Chicago Bears and has since created the most influential Aussie pipeline for aspiring college and NFL players with his company Prokick Australia.

Daniel Garb lived a boyhood dream when he took up his media seat at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium. For eight years Perth-born 'Garby' called the UK home as Fox Sports Australia's European Football correspondent, and his stories need to be heard to be believed. Garb has become a household name in Australia, reporting across Socceroos and Matildas campaigns, jet setting the globe to bring to life the stories of Aussies Abroad in leagues across the world.

Garby's exploits didn't just start and end with the world game. In addition to covering off three FIFA World Cup's and five premier league seasons, he has also reported on two Ashes tours, two British Opens and the 2014 Commonwealth games.

Socceroos goalkeeper Matt Ryan is arguably the most underrated keeper in the English Premier League, and this week on Aussies Abroad he joined us to discuss his journey from the Central Coast Mariners, to Club Brugge, Valencia, Genk to now Brighton & Hove Albion where he is hoping to help guide the Seagulls up the EPL table.

Having played more than 100 games for Brighton, the Sydney born shot-stopper is Australia's first choice keeper in between the sticks at International level.
