Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a church ministry or what actually goes on behind-the-scenes of a worship service? Join Lance Havens, Associate Minister at Austin Avenue Church of Christ, as he visits with our worship and ministry leaders in this series we call "The Why Behind the What."

In this episode, Doug Crum, our new Preaching Minister in 2025, discusses with Lance what has influenced him over the years as a Preaching Minister. Doug began as a Youth Minister, then Involvement Minister, and now Preaching. Doug brings 27 years of ministry experience to the Austin Avenue Church of Christ.
