Ronald Isherwood grew up in the slums of Fitzroy, Melbourne. His father was a member of the notorious painters and dockers union. From a life time of crime, addiction, lavish living, and prison, Ron's seen it all.
He has served time in Pentridge prison, Melbourne. Grafton prison in Sydney, and also in Queensland jails.

He is about to release a book on his life later this year.
