Muttaburrasaurus, named after the town of Muttaburra in Queensland Australia, was a large bipedal herbivorous dinosaur related to the Iguanodon.

Three significant dinosaur finds have been recently found in Winton, Australia. Bones of two new giant sauropods named Diamantinasaurus and Wintonotitan were found at the same site as a new predator, Australovenator.

In a town called Winton, in central Queensland, three new dinosaurs have been found which are of huge significance to Australia. They’re the first dinosaurs officially announced and named in almost 30 years. One of them is Australovenator, and is Australia’s first known carnivorous dinosaur.
