This episode of the Australian Property Show may be short and sharp, but it's one that I hope gets you thinking about something.
Which is the cost of inaction and the rewards of doing the opposite.
Each year I sit down and do a bit of a self-assessment of where I'm at. If you haven't done this I strongly encourage you to
Throughout the episode, I share why this can be a really powerful exercise.
The main goal? To assess whether or not you're where you want to be in key areas of your life.
The objective isn't to write a short novel analysing your every move, misstep, or achievement.
It's about taking a look in the mirror and determining what steps you need to take to change those areas or things you're not currently satisfied with.
I've been doing this for the past 10 years, but what I've noticed recently is it's something most people only do once or twice, and they do it without even knowing it.
And it's normally the result of having an O-Shit moment when they hit a major birthday milestone - like turning 40 or 50.
I discuss why this is such an incredibly common situation people find themselves in, and what you can do to avoid it altogether.

In this episode of the Australian Property Show, we dive deep into a topic hotter than tickets to a Taylor Swift concert.
Over the past decade, we’ve seen a significant rise in Australians using their super to buy investment property.
According to the ATO, SMSFs collectively hold billions of dollars in residential and commercial property, and that figure continues to climb.
So, why is this happening?
In this episode, we explore the real reason hundreds of thousands of Australians are choosing to buy property in super.
We also take you through a step-by-step guide of everything you need to have in place if this is a property investment option you want to pursue.

This episode of the Australian Property Show is part 2 of our interview with Chris Gray, author of The Effortless Empire & CEO of Your Empire Buyers Agents.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this might be our best interview yet. Chris has an incredible story to tell.
Growing up in the UK before making the permanent move to Australia in his 20s, Chris brought with him an approach to investing in property 20 years ahead of the times.
He is in every sense of the word a contrarian, Chris zigs where others zag and has developed arguably the simplest, most boring but effective approach to building a property portfolio that you’ll hear about this year.
At a time when we’re being force-fed content about overnight get-rich-quick property investment schemes, I think you’ll find Chris’ approach to the topic to be not only refreshing but highly practical.
Throughout the episode, we discuss:

In this episode of the Australian Property Show we’re joined by budding property investor Sam Gannon.
Sam’s story is an incredible one. Within a few short years, he has gone from employee to small business owner, first-time property investor to now the owner of a property portfolio, and to top it all off he's started a beautiful family with his wife Kelly.
If you’re someone who wants to use property as a means of having greater choice and freedom in your life, this episode is for you.
I think what listeners will appreciate most about this story is just how relatable Sam’s situation is. Sam and his wife Kelly started where most do, with a goal in mind but without a plan to get there.
Everything they have built has come from dedication, hard work, and asking for help and direction along the way.
Throughout the episode Sam shares all of this, along with:

In this episode of the Australian Property Show we’re joined by Sydney property market expert Jill Henry.
With over 20 years of experience working with buyers and sellers in the nation's most competitive real estate market, Jill’s on-the-ground understanding of what’s happening in Sydney is invaluable.
There’s no doubting it, for Sydney-based first-home buyers and investors, the outlook is bleak.
With many competing against hordes of cashed-up international buyers who are in a position to pay 'whatever it takes' to secure a slice of Sydney real estate.
While many believe the great Australian dream of owning your own home in Sydney may well be dead, Jill offers some great advice, tips, and stories for those who are desperate to break their way into the property market.
