According to Axios, Over 85 cruise ships are under CDC investigation following COVID outbreaks. CNN states that the Omicron variant is responsible for filling up children's hospitals, with a five-fold increase in pediatric admissions in New York City this month.
Meanwhile, AP News reports that the US move to shorten COVID-19 isolation stirs confusion and draws criticism from some medical experts. Lastly, U.S. stock futures edged higher today - Tuesday, a day after a record close for the S&P 500. Futures tied to the S&P 500 added 0.3% after the broad-market index rallied 1.4% on Monday.
