This episode explores kindness and its contagious nature, emphasizing its transformative power in our lives and communities. We start by highlighting the significance of small acts of kindness and the psychological mechanisms behind its contagiousness.
It also explores the reciprocal benefits of kindness for both the giver and the receiver, promoting overall well-being and connection. And the reminder that connection creates belonging.
As Latinx professionals, I encourage us to lead by example in fostering cultures of kindness in workplaces and communities!

It's the first week of February and I want to check in to see how your goals are coming along. Remember, being accountable is not about perfection; it's about progress and staying true to your authentic self. So take a look at the goals you set, and the impact you want to have, and see if they are aligned with your calendar.
That’s one of the reasons I started the podcast 7 years ago because I understand that life is ….life
Right?
We have the best intentions and we make a plan and things come up that get in the way….
Sometimes we get in the way
I’ve been there before. I’ve been there many times. Times where I felt like I was running so fast and not getting anywhere. Times where I worried about how I could be more focused in losing weight, running more miles, eating healthier, being a better parent - you name it. Times where I wondered if I had what it took to do the things I wanted to accomplish
But let me tell you something, I was trying to do those things by myself. And I didn’t want to ask for help. Or share my difficulties with others. I didn’t know what or how to do things differently, and I knew I needed to. And when I started to go outside my comfort zone, looking for answers. When I started to open my mind and be more vulnerable, that was when extraordinary things started to happen for me.
So today I want to remind you of the incredible potential….the possibilities that open up when you listen and learn from others. When you are open to listening and learning how other people have overcome their challenges, what they learned.
I’d love to hear from you. What’s on your mind? Who would you want to hear and learn from? Leave a comment or audio message HERE I’d love to play in in a future episode

As you get ready for the week join me on Autentico Podcast as I talk to you about what you put out into the world
Think about what you are putting out this week.
What are you giving?
What are you focusing on?
I'd love to hear from you, leave a voice message:
On this episode of Autentico Podcast, Gabriela asks eres Fountain o Drain.
The more you fill people up, the more you support them and their needs, the more they'll want to spend time with you, work with you, buy from you, and invest in you and it's also through connections that we are truly alive.
The more you act as a drain, the more you'll drive those same people away. The more you will drive opportunities away.
I’d love to hear where you think you usually are - a fountain or a drain and why - let’s work on supporting each other more! Cheering each other on and empowering others!
So what did I learn in 2023?
💕Make space to be uncomfortable - it's only outside our comfort zone that we grow.
💕 Speak up for other people and live courageously, even when you have to take risks and be bold.
💕 Encourage and empower others - it's through connections that we are truly alive.
💕 Self-acceptance is accepting yourself AND others as well.
💕 Don't burn out. My boss drove this one home this year and I am making sure I put on my oxygen mask before trying to help others in 2024.
Gracias for listening in!
