Whether we become a disciple of Jesus early or late in life, we should work diligently with the time we have to extend the Kingdom of God. We should avoid a mercenary or transactional spirit, thinking I have given lots, I should get more in return. We should avoid an envious spirit, and here Jesus is teaching us there is no room in the kingdom of God for this.
