Just a minor identity crisis.
A journey.
An unraveling.
What happens when we bump up against a potential different truth to something we have always thought we absolutely knew to be true.
Join me as I share some thoughts on how good it is to get uncomfortable.

Alison Faraday has done many things in her life, including working in tourism, the corporate sector, training and education, conservation, and the non profit sector.
But above all, she is a wife and a mother of two sons.
Today she shares beautifully and vulnerably with us about the unraveling that she's experiencing on the other side of motherhood, the empty nest side. Join us for an open conversation as we stand on either side of this motherhood journey and build a bridge by opening communication and sharing insights

And then I realized that this seemingly random title was really my subconscious forcing to the surface a confession that I finally need to make to myself and something I actually just need to sit down and deal with.
And that is that I don't like the fact that I am human. My humanity is not my favorite part of myself. I mean, what a ridiculous statement, but that's where I'm at.

Join us for an honest conversation between Mother and Daughter (with occasional input from 3 month old grand daughter). What a privilege to unpack our experiences of motherhood from all these different perspectives and share the things that ultimately guide us on this journey.

"It's that place where you're stuck and you need to pull the strings out. You need to unravel something. It could be emotional. It could be spiritual. It could be with work. It could be with your habits. There's all these different places. And so you feel that something. Stuckness, you feel like you're just kind of like spinning your wheels and you know you need to unravel.
A coach can come and help you unravel and then they're not the modalities. It's not therapeutic, it's not mentoring, discipleship. It's someone who's partnering with you to help you really unravel. "
Join us as Sarah Prince shares about her own authentic unraveling and the way coaching has been a powerful support in that.

Three unravellings in the course of ten days.
An unraveling in my professional world, an unraveling in the world of grief and loss, an unraveling in my identity and role as a mother.
It happens sometimes big and dramatic. Like a full on meltdown because I don't think I'm good enough for my job.
It sometimes happens in the most painful of ways, like grief over life lost.
And sometimes it happens in the small ways, like your child wanting someone who makes them feel safe that's not you.
