The grief journey is a twisting and turning path that at times moves us away from our pain and then other times supplants us squarely in the middle of our feelings of despair. Despite these continual changes, it is important for us to remain vigilant about our health and how we interpret our feelings about ourselves.

February also gives us an opportunity to highlight the achievements and contributions of Black people in American history. Black history is every day, but we honor the legacy of Black Americans by telling their stories and retelling our collective history.
