Stacy also highlights how the sport is often misunderstood—far beyond “pom poms and megaphones,” it demands dedication, athleticism, and advanced skills. With the launch of the Pro Cheerleague, athletes now have a professional path beyond college.

Her author journey also led to SRF Creations, where she helps writers with branding, websites, and marketing strategy. She warns that many first-time authors mistakenly believe the work ends at publication. Instead, she advises having a post-publication plan and focusing on one marketing platform at a time to avoid overwhelm.

Upcoming projects include 10,000 Steps, a fiction story based on a true MS diagnosis, written to educate readers with input from specialists and patients. She’s also developing a new Bald Head Island romance/suspense trilogy and considering a second edition of Pioneers of All-Star Cheer to include more voices.

Her advice to aspiring authors: keep writing. The first draft doesn’t need to be perfect—it just needs to exist. Authority is built not by one book or award but through consistent effort, branding, and the courage to keep sharing your work.
