Through her experience as a clinician—and being the mother of a teenage son who was diagnosed with autism at a young age—Audra dispels the myth that autism is only a pediatric disability. She also presents prevalence numbers, the importance of knowing patients on an individual level, and the different challenges of working with older adult patients who were diagnosed with autism later in life.
