Interacting with children who are autistic has many things in common with other social interactions. There are some commonalities you can learn but that will come with time.

To start here are some very simple things you can do to make your interactions meaningful :

- Make an attempt
- Look for Connection
- Be okay with not getting a response you would like or would expect
