Recalls for the week:

153,000 2015-20 Audi A3s Recalled for Passenger Airbag Issue - A fix is still in development

The issue affects model-year 2015-20 Audi A3 and S3 sedans and hatchbacks, model-year 2016-18 A3 e-Tron hatchbacks, model-year 2017-20 RS 3 performance sedans and model-year 2015-19 A3 cabriolets. A fix is still in development, but Audi will begin sending interim notices to owners May 21; a second notice will be sent when a remedy is found. Owners with further questions can call Audi at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.

Fuel Pump Recall in Store for 628,000 Hondas and Acuras - Dealers will replace the fuel pump assembly for free.

For Honda, this includes model-year 2019 Accord Hybrid sedans; Civic and Civic Si coupes and sedans; Civic Type R and Fit hatchbacks; HR-V, Passport and Pilot SUVs; Ridgeline pickups; model-year 2019-20 Accord sedans, Civic hatchbacks, and Insight sedans and hatchbacks; and model-year 2018-19 CR-V SUVs. For Acura, Honda’s luxury arm, the recall includes the model-year 2019 ILX sedan and model-year 2019-20 MDX, MDX Hybrid and RDX SUVs and TLX sedans. Honda will begin notifying owners May 18, but those with further questions can call the automaker at 888-234-2138, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
