Consumer Reports rounded up the poorest used models of the past decade. Today, we’re going to caution you about: Fiat 500

Fiat-Chrysler has 19 models listed as far below average in reliability by Consumer Reports in the last decade, so any used car shopper considering one should read up on them before buying, new or used. Fiat’s worst performer was the 500, which should be avoided for model years 2012, 2013, and 2015. The 2012 model, in particular, proved to be a disaster in body finish, brakes, suspension, and power equipment

Please consider reading up on the reliability of this car before purchasing it as a used car, suggests Consumer Reports. https://www.consumerreports.org/used-cars/used-cars-to-avoid-buying/  https://www.carcomplaints.com/ is another resource for unreliable car lists.

He has reviewed cars and covered the auto industry for 25 years. His review this week is on the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime and Yaris; 2020 Mazda CX-30 and the  2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV – that’s the one where Casey is wearing the MPB Shirt we sent him.
