Recalls for the week:

Recall affects the emergency jacks of model-year 2020-22 Encore GX and 2021-22 Trailblazer vehicles. The resolution is pretty clear cut: Dealers will replace the jack for free. Buick and Chevrolet manufacturer GM will begin notifying owners July 26, but those with further questions can call the Buick at 800-521-7300, Chevrolet at 800-630-2438

You can find out if your car has a past recall by going to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and inputting your VIN number. Or find their SaferCar app.
