Auto Correct

Auto Correct: Lessons Learned

Listen Later

We’re all going to share some vehicle mistakes today, so we can learn from each other. That's what this show is about – we want to hear what you did or you heard someone do – that you’d like to warn others about – something that messed up your vehicle, a ticket you got, some mistake that was preventable.

Allison also will take vehicle questions.

In the news: this is from M-Dot: Flash floods can occur within a few minutes or up to six hours after excessive rainfall. Never drive through a flooded area, as the road bed may be washed away and you may not know how deep the water is. If you encounter a flooded road – TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!

Most flood deaths occur at night and when people become trapped in automobiles that stall in areas that are flooded. If your vehicle stalls, abandon it immediately and seek higher ground. The rising water may engulf the vehicle and the occupants inside. Do not camp or park your vehicle along streams or creeks during threatening conditions. https://drivesmart.mdot.ms.gov/severe-weather/
