• 2022 — Ford Maverick. In July there was a recall for a potential engine compartment fire risk, now it’s side curtain airbags.
• Various Ferraris from the last 17 model years Recalled for Risk of Brake Failure
• Some 2019-22 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports Recalled for Stalling Issue

On August 16th, The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 was enacted and amends the Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit (IRC 30D). Now known as the Clean Vehicle Credit, it adds a new requirement for final assembly in North America. Additional provisions will go into effect on January 1, 2023. Further guidance on these provisions is forthcoming. Find more information about the credit from the Internal Revenue Service.
