I’ve never given turbo and super charged cars a thought until this week. There’s a lot I didn’t know and a lot I had wrong about turbo engines. I bet you’ll learn a thing or two from this show also.

Recalls:

• BMW Issues Massive Recall for 917,000 Cars, SUVs Over Fire Risk. Affected vehicles include model-year 2008-13 128i coupes and convertibles; model-year 2006-13 3 Series coupes, sedans, convertibles and wagons; model-year 2006-10 5 Series sedans and wagons; model-year 2007-10 X3 and X5 SUVs; and model-year 2006-11 Z4 coupes and convertibles. Vehicles previously repaired under the old recalls will need to return for the new recall remedy, which is still under development. BMW will begin notifying owners April 25, but those with additional questions can call the automaker at 800-525-7417.

According to https://gaspricesexplained.com/: Changes in gasoline and diesel prices mirror those of crude oil prices, which are determined in the global crude oil market by the worldwide demand for and supply of crude oil. Crude oil costs accounted for 53 percent of what people are paying at the pump per the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Excise taxes averaged another 17 percent. That leaves 30 percent for the refiners, distributors, and retailers.
