Marc and Simon record the final episode of the year at Perth's premier Classic Car event. Celebration of the Motorcar. Held in the pristine grounds of the Cottesloe Civic Centre, overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean, which can only be compared to locations around the world like Pebble Beach or Villa d'Este.
Enjoy the car banter, and a drop in appearance from a fellow owner displaying his Corvette.
As always, please get in touch if you have anything to contribute, or want to be a guest next year. Of course, it will be greatly appreciated, if you could share this podcast with any sympathetic listeners, and iTunes reviews always help.
Have a safe and happy festive season, and New Year, and we look forward to new episodes in 2022.
Enjoy the drive.
What a fun episode talking to Ben. Our youngest guest yet. His experience and enthusiasm is great to listen to. He also shares his story about how he came about starting his apprenticeship at Porsche Centre Perth, and how the management there couldn't believe he bought his Porsche 911 964, and we speculate that he might be the youngest owner of such a car that we have heard of. Plenty of all round car banter.
Enjoy our repartee, and share with like minded enthusiasts please.
Follow the channel, and leave a review on iTunes. It would mean a lot to us.
Have a great drive today.
Marc & Simon.
In this Episode, Godfrey shares his incredible history, racing his Porsches, both 911 & 356. The 911's history is extraordinary, from many Targa Tasmania events, Porsche Cup, through to London to Sydney Marathon! He shares his experience racing the Shield of Africa, and the adventures of these great undertakings in his 73 Targa. All car and motorsport fans will be delighted, and I am sure you will find his stories as fascinating as we did.
Thanks Godfrey!
In this episode, our guest, Paul Blank shares his decades of experience in the classic car world. As an icon of the classic car movement in Western Australia, he has been instrumental in event management and important car ownership, and vehicle brokering.
This short episode does little justice to sharing his amazing knowledge of cars in general, and the seemingly endless supply of stories about all the important cars to have ever been not just in WA, but across Australia and the world.
Please show your support for his time, as well as the support of Calneggia Family Vineyards, www.cfvwine.com.au this episode's sponsor.

This episode shares the vast experience of ownership of Mark Coulson. He may well have a bigger problem than Simon, when it comes to buying on a whim.
Marc & Simon talk about their week that was, then all three review the first 25 cars on AutoCar magazine's top 50 cars you must drive before you die.
You might be surprised at how many of these cars have a story from one or all of them, in some fashion or another.
Special thanks to Calneggia Family Vineyards for sponsoring another episode. Make sure you check them out at www.cfvwine.com.au
Jack Quinn is the Chief Editor of Benzina Magazine. An Australian high quality niche publication celebrating the ongoing heritage and culture of classic cars and motorcycles. Jack shares his decades of experience within the classic car scene in Australia, and throughout Europe.
Add to this the typical auto banter, and witless humour from Marc and Simon, and it all adds up to another fun episode.
Special thanks to Jack, and Benzina Magazine for also sponsoring this episode, along with our regular channel sponsor Kuoe Kyoto Watches. If you're in the market, please support both of them, and let them know you heard about them here.

Thanks for your support and for listening.
Episode 4 has Marc and Simon enjoying the company of Alex Forrest. Veteran Automotive journalist, of 25+ years, and all round classic car tragic. He is probably best known for writing his long running weekly column in the West Australian Newspaper, Idle Torque. His experience writing about classic cars for over 20 years week in and week out, makes for some amazing experience and stories.
He has recently published a lovely hardcover book, containing some 70 of his favourite stories, about the cars and the characters that own them.
Available wherever great books are sold, or online here: https://fremantlepress.com.au/books/idle-torque-stories-for-classic-car-enthusiasts/
Episode 3 is a lot of fun, with Ajmal. He hosts the YouTube channel flatcap driver. His antics with cars, and his willingness to take a risk when buying a car, seems to not only succeed more often than not, it provides some entertaining banter.
I, Marc, have been up to my elbows, trying to run wiring in my GR Yaris. Still missing my little red 356 from the garage too. I did at least get another video published on the Marc and Cars YouTube channel!
Simon, not surprisingly, has bought another Volvo, and another motorcycle. He did at least try to sell a car....
I am sure you will find plenty to enjoy, whiling away the time, listening to us three chat all things cars, and the fun we all have with them.
Thanks for spending your time with us. We appreciate it.
Marc, Simon & Ajmal.
In this Episode Marc and Simon are joined by Marco Magnaterra from Porsche Centre Perth. It is a fun chat, talking to a young guy who has only ever worked for the Porsche Centre. He started as an apprentice motor mechanic, completed this, then evolved into a workshop supervisor role, before heading to front of shop, with sales. An interesting journey, and made all the better for the salubrious accommodations provided by Porsche Centre Perth, to record this episode.
Again, Calneggia Family Vineyards have sponsored the episode, along with Kuoe Kyoto Watches. Please support them when considering your consumption, and time keeping requirements!

Welcome to the first episode of Auto-Media Podcast. Simon and I, Marc, have decided to host a regular podcast of all things cars. Come along for the drive, you will here a couple of overly opinionated middle age men waffle on about anything and everything to do with all things cars. We love a classic, and I really love an air-cooled Porsche. This will definitely skew our commentary, but I am sure you'll enjoy it.
Episode 1 features Johnny Ross, from Ross reviews. One of the few full time Auto YouTubers based here in Perth. We talk to him about how life is as a content creator, what cars he has found very exciting, and what has surprised him the most.
