Fi: Aino avasi silmänsä hitaasti.
En: Aino opened her eyes slowly.

Fi: Huone oli hiljainen, vain vaimea piipitys monitorista kuului.
En: The room was quiet, with only the faint beeping from the monitor audible.

Fi: Hän tunsi olonsa väsyneeksi, mutta kipu oli helpottanut.
En: She felt tired, but the pain had subsided.
