Autumn Macdougall is from the hockey superstar hotbed which is Cole Harbour Nova Scotia.

She started playing in boys' leagues until she eventually made the Canadian Women's National program.

Later in January 2021 Autumn will play her first season in the NWHL as a member of the Buffalo Beauts.
