The idea of being swallowed up by an avalanche is terrifying. We’re leaning into our fear on today’s episode with Dave Zinn, an avalanche forecaster with the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center, or GNFAC. Dave formerly oversaw the avalanche education program for GNFAC’s nonprofit arm, so he’s the perfect person to dumb down tomes of information into the smallest possible words Michelle and Joe can understand.
