Ted and Josh discuss the EU's vote to require all new cars sold to be zero emission by 2035. The main concern with an EV future is whether or not it's possible and how such a future would affect the lower and middle classes currently priced out of EV ownership and maintenance. Despite our concerns, there are 12 years on the clock, and when it comes to technology....12 years is a longgg time. We also discuss gen Z and their preference for sedans. Yay, gen Z!

We all want to learn more and are genuinely rooting for the technology, but we can't pretend there aren't serious issues. As automotive journalists, we aren't picking on EVs - we treat them like we would any other car or new technology. Ultimately, we just want them to be as good as they can.
