In this episode, I talk about the contradictory messaging from the same general groups of people who both promote abortion on the grounds of body autonomy yet deny body autonomy in favor of COVID19 vaccination mandates and public segregations betraying private, personal healthcare information (that is supposed to be protected under the force of law, right?). What does it say about a culture, when people cannot remain consistent in philosophical messaging, because it would be too politically and socially inconvenient?
In this episode, I discuss the problem of entitlement mentality and how it has created a perverse and heretical counterfeit version of Christianity, where God is viewed as more of a puppet or summons rather than the sovereign Deity that He is. Come check it out, and let me know what you think. Feeling entitled? If so, to what exactly?
This episode is not for the feint of heart, the weak of liver, or the hyperallergenic of truth. In this long-form installment, I discuss the destruction of western society as being currently perpetrated through the ongoing sexual revolution and how human sexuality is not only a fundamental facet of existence but also a dangerous weakness openly being exploited.
In this installment, we take a deep breath, look at a couple of really great stories for moral support. Then, we check out the latest in the Marxist playbook's attempts at subverting Western civilization, where an American Air Force Base celebrated "Pride Month" by hosting a drag-queen show.
Once we've reached the point in our exploration of these pillars of Biblical Christianity, where we recognize the divinity of Jesus and the role of his death, burial, and resurrection, then we come full circle back to the overarching theistic worldview with an addendum: that deity now has a name, and we can relate to Him personally. From here, comes the test of true faith... Do we truly believe in Jesus as Lord, or do we cling to something vague as a means of retaining our sinful pride?
In this episode, we discuss several topics, from Calgary's continued persecution of Christians to the trouble with trying to manufacture your own reality while simultaneously forcing that reality upon others.
The key to avoiding a trap is knowing how it works. Marxism is ultimately about exalting human greed, but it does so through subtle means. Pay attention to the context of a situation and be wary, lest you get snagged by its hook.
In this installment of our study series on the fundamentals of Christianity, we've reached the pillar atop which the entire faith must stand. Having transitioned from that initial exploration of a theistic worldview to the point of the Biblical acknowledgment of Jesus' divinity as a requirement for His preparation as a qualified sacrifice according to the laws of righteousness, we now explore the central pier upon which the faith is built: not only did God provide a Lamb, but that divine Lamb rose from the dead.
How is the Church supposed to engage with the world? Through ambiguous terminology and vague sermons? Or, are we supposed to directly engage with the specific cultural evils of our time? I think the answer is obvious, and I discuss why in this installment of the Average Apologetics Podcast!
What would the world look like if everyone chose a path in life and held to that path firmly and boldly? What would the world be like if people confidently chose sides in conflicts and maintained a resolute connection to the issues surrounding them?
In this installment, we don't even try to paint the picture of such a world that does not exist. Rather, we take a look at how apathy and indecision have contributed to the downward spiral of western society.
