What is addiction? Often times we relate addiction to something negative, however, this may not always be the case. Sometimes the “thing” that an individual is addicted can be positive (i.e. an activity that we generally deem positive as a society) . An example of this is exercise addiction; would this still be considered “negative”? Today we attempt to define the term addiction, while moving through a variety of possible scenarios and outcomes associated with being addicted to a substance or activity.
