For the upcoming AviaDev Europe 2019 we partnered with ch-aviation, the World's leading Airline Intelligence Provider since 1998. Within our partnership, we bring a special episode every month with Max Oldorf, CCO of ch-aviation where we will be discussing interesting stories from the world of European aviation. This is our second joint episode and this time, we feature planned changes in Austrian Airlines´ fleet, Adria Airways in talks with US investor and Wizz Air´s new Russian adventure. Surprisingly, we haven´t talked just about aviation this time. Summer period is also the time of the year when many of us try new things so maybe you can get inspired by Max as he shares his experience with meditation – something some of you may try too, if you feel overwhelmed with stress.
Just a year after we started the podcast we have our very first guest back again. Miguel Angel Perez explains the journey Valencia as a destination has been through over the last year and invites the European aviation community to enjoy AviaDev Europe this October in Valencia again. Miguel also shares some tips where in Europe to get the best hair transplants 😊

We discussed it with John Grant, partner at MIDAS Aviation who is a very well known and respected character within the industry.

Young, tenacious, determined, resourceful and utterly charming, Tatevik Revazian has all of the characteristics which represent modern day Armenia and we are delighted to welcome her to the AviaDev podcast.
In this episode we were talking to Detlef Döberthin from Münster Osnabrück, regional airport in Germany. Detlef mentioned their success stories and also big challenges they had to face just a couple of months ago. He also shared a very interesting lesson that other regional airports can learn from.
In this very special episode we bring you full interview with Rafal Milczarski, CEO & President of the management board of LOT Polish Airlines. He was interviewed by Aviation Development Director of AviaDev Europe Tony Hallwood, live on stage in Krakow at the ACI Europe Regional Conference and Exhibition 2019. Rafal shared his view on several different topics, including LOT´s attitude towards regional airports, their future growth plans and, of course, the prospects of Poland´s mega hub project: Central Airport and Railway Hub.
As the Route Development Manager for Riga Airport, Laura Audarina has enjoyed some incredible successes recently.
In 2018 Riga welcomed it's 7 millionth passenger which was an above average +16% on 2017. With 15 new routes in 2018, an expected 9 extra routes in 2019, an increasing catchment of 6.1m and a new high speed rail link coming online soon, these really are halcyon days for Riga Airport.
Tony Hallwood has developed regional and long-haul air services for Bristol Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport over many years. In this episode, Tony talks to us about his views of the changing nature of European regional aviation, developing long-haul connectivity for regional airports and why he likes to walk on fire in his spare time.
In this episode we talked to Antonio Pascale, network optimization analyst at Easyjet. Despite his young age, Antonio has already gained a lot of experience from different angles of the aviation industry and he is very passionate about it. We discussed many challenges (not only) European airlines have to face and we also touched the topic of the distribution and IATA NDC initiative.
