Aviation Alphabet Soup with Adam Smith, October 8, 2017

Listen Later

Over the last 5 years, SimpleFlight Aviation Radio has had multiple repeat guests.  Generally their contributions to aviation have grown, but only from within the same role.  Tonight, please welcome back Adam Smith, who was our guest on our first remote show back in November of 2012.  At that time, Adam was new to AOPA, heading up the new Center to Advance the Pilot Community.  We also  learned about all the things he did with EAA and NMF (National Museum of Flight in Scotland).

After a year plus at AOPA, Adam was about to accept a new role with a West Coast company.  But he was presented with an offer to work with the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), in building a museum that would connect the public with the CAF mission in a very emotional and experiential way.  That offer hit home with Adam, and was one he could not refuse.  Tune in tonight as Marc and Rhonda learn about his journey through the different organizations and a special announcement as to yet another change in direction as he continues his life's journey.

We hope you enjoy listening as much as we love talking to others who share our passion for aviation.  Let us know what you think!
