We avoid the person, the conflict, the uncomfortable and awkward, the risk. In doing so, our relationships remain fractured. WE remain fractured. We also deny ourselves opportunities to grow and stretch our dependence on God when we avoid situations that get us out of our comfort zone. Sometimes what is worthwhile is not easy. Being a Christ follower isn’t about comfort and ease. Becoming a Christ follower helps us to better face the challenges of life because we have a powerful God to help us.
