The Avon Lake Public Library’s Laura Ploenzke and Jen Miller talk about the upcoming “Community Environmental Education” programs. The Avon Lake’s Environmental Affairs Advisory Board (EAAB) is partnering with the Avon Lake Public Library to provide programming to address issues that residents raised through the EAAB’s survey.

As a reminder City offices will be closed December 26 & January 2 for the holidays. The Avon Lake Public Library will be closed December 23-26 & December 30-January 2.
Christmas trees will be collected the first and second full weeks of January. Ornaments, tinsel, etc. must be removed and the tree cannot be encased in plastic. Trees that are taller than six feet must be cut in half.
